What personal information SudZapp collects through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it. SudZapp is the data controller, based at Station House, Dingestow , Monmouth NP25 4BZ.

What we collect.
- Mailing list. If you join our mailing list we store your email address and the date you signed up.
- Retailer enquiries. If you send the form on our retailers page we store what you tell us: your name, business, email, phone number, town and message.
- Phone orders. When you call to order we may note your name and phone number so we can get your order ready. We only use these to handle that order.
- Your order notepad. The list you build on the menu is saved only in your own browser, so it is still there if you come back. It is never sent to us.
- Website data. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it.
We use your email address only to send you news about SudZapp, such as new dishes, specials and ready meal updates. We rely on your consent for this, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
We use retailer enquiries only to reply to you about stocking our ready meals.
We never sell or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles your data.
We use a small number of trusted services to run this website:
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Supabase, which securely stores our menu, mailing list and retailer enquiries (hosted in London).
- OpenFreeMap, which supplies the map in our Find us section. Your browser fetches the map from their servers, so they see your IP address, as with any website you visit.
The Directions button opens Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy.
Cookies.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is for staff signing in to manage the menu. Your order notepad uses your browser’s own storage, not a cookie.
How long we keep it.
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Retailer enquiries are kept while we are in touch with you and deleted when they are no longer needed. Order notes are kept only as long as needed to complete your order.
Your rights.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
